Click on the "Download" tab. Click on the "Download" tab To download a file click on a file listing or file icon.
To download a folder and all contents tick the checkbox for the folder
and click on the "Download" icon in the toolbar. The server will pack
all the files and folders into a Zip file which you can unpack after
download.*
Click on the "Select Files" button, and choose files using the popup Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac). You can select multiple files using shift-click or alt-click. The site administrator will receive a email when your upload completes, you can include your name and email address and a message. Click on "Optional Message" and fill in the details. Click on the "Upload" button to start the upload. Progress is displayed in the bar at the top. The functionality listed in this section is avaialble to the admin user and to users with "Manage" permission enabled. Click on the "New Folder" icon in the toolbar, enter a name for the new folder.
Tick the checkbox(es) against files and/or folders to be deleted and click on the "Trash Can" icon in the toolbar. If you delete a folder all folder contents are deleted. You can also select this function from the right-click menu. *The Snapshot feature coming soon
Tick the checkbox for a file or folder, click on the "Rename" icon in the toolbar and enter the new name. You can also select this function from the right-click menu. Tick the checkbox(es) for one or more files or folder, click on the "Cut" icon in the toolbar. Navigate to the target location and click on the "Paste" icon in the toolbar. You can also select this function from the right-click menu.
Tick the checkbox for the file or folder you wish to copy, click the "Copy" icon in the toolbar. Navigate to the target location and click on the "Paste" icon in the toolbar.
To create a zip archive tick one or more checkboxes for files and/or folders you wish to archive;
Click on the Zip icon in the toolbar (or right click);
Confirm the file name for the zip file or enter a new filename.
A snapshot of your site is taken every hour. Each snapshot is a full backup of your site. You can restore files that have since been deleted or overwritten, and you can directly download from a snapshot. Open a snapshot; Check the tickboxes for the files or folders you wih to restore and click the Restore button. Choose to restore to the original location (any existing files or folders in that location will be overwritten), or restore to a new location. You can download files from a snapshot just the same as downloading from your live site. You can download files from a snapshot just the same as downloading from your live site. Virus checkers and proxy servers can interfere with the upload process. If you have persistent upload failures try switching off virus checking, and ask your system adminsitrator if your connection uses any proxy servers. Uploads may be slower than downloads. ADSL Internet connections are 'aysmmetric', which means that the upload speed of your line is a fraction of the download speed. There is a 2 gig transfer limit on the Web client. If you wish to transfer larger files, use FTP software. ![]() ![]()
